Role Overview:

As the Head of People at Uqudo, you will play a critical role in shaping our company culture, fostering a dynamic and inclusive workplace environment, and driving the growth and development of our exceptional team. You will lead our people strategy, aligning it with our business objectives, and ensuring that Uqudo remains an employer of choice in the industry. If you are passionate about nurturing talent, building high-performing teams, and driving organizational success through people-centric initiatives, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive people strategy aligned with the company’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Work with multiple recruitment agencies and freelancers to coordinate talent acquisition, including sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding top-tier talent across various departments.
  • Implement effective performance management processes to drive employee engagement, retention, and professional growth.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and fairness.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and development, providing resources and support for employee skill enhancement and career progression.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to create a welcoming and inclusive workplace for all employees.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on people-related matters, providing insights and recommendations to drive organizational effectiveness.
  • Foster strong employee relations through effective communication, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in HR and talent management, integrating innovative approaches to enhance organizational effectiveness.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience working within a Series A or above venture-backed company.
  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, with a track record of driving people initiatives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams, with exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable people strategies.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and inspire employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Passionate about fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and drive change with resilience and adaptability.

This role reports directly to the COO.
