Role Overview:
Uqudo is seeking a Finance Analyst specializing in Receivables and Costing to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will play a critical part in managing accounts receivables while also assisting in ERP implementation and overseeing various costing-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivables: Manage accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment tracking, collections, and reconciliation.
- Assist in ERP implementation: Support the Finance Manager in the implementation of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, providing insights and assistance as needed.
- Contracts Database Management & Costing: Maintain contracts database and assist in costing analysis for various contracts and projects.
- Department Costing: Analyze and allocate costs to different departments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Department Budget Tracking: Monitor departmental budgets, track expenses, and provide regular updates to management on budget performance.
- Variable Compensation Working, Recording: Assist in the calculation and recording of variable compensation for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Monitoring Unused Subscriptions: Track and monitor unused subscriptions, analyze usage patterns, and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Acquisition and Procurements: Support acquisition and procurement processes, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and cost analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting role, with exposure to accounts receivable and costing activities.
- Experience with ERP systems implementation preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
