The Position:

As a Coverage and Capabilities Associate at Uqudo.com, you will play a pivotal role in mapping the identity regulatory landscape in the Middle East and Africa. You will work closely with the COO and legal counsel to translate regulatory documents into a structured database format, manage the visualization of the regulatory landscape in Airtable, and collaborate with the product and operations team to expand Uqudo’s coverage and verification abilities for individual and company identity documents.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Landscape Mapping:
  • Collaborate with the COO and legal counsel to map the identity regulatory landscape by country in the Middle East and Africa.
  • Translate regulatory documents into a structured database format.
Coverage and Verification Enhancement:
  • Work closely with the product and operations team to expand Uqudo’s coverage and verification abilities for individual and company identity documents.
Airtable Management:
  • Manage the visualization of Uqudo’s coverage and capabilities in Airtable.
  • Manage the visualization of the regulatory landscape in Airtable.
  • Visualize coverage and capabilities in Airtable for effective communication across teams.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Legal or Regulatory Background:
  • Strong legal or regulatory background within the Middle East.
Research Skills:
  • Strong research background, with the ability to gather and analyze regulatory information effectively.
Data Management:
  • Proficiency in working with data and building structured data models.
Tool Proficiency:
  • Experience using Airtable or Advanced Excel for data visualization and management.

You should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in legal, regulatory, or research roles, preferably within the Middle East.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
